edit: oh, got it to work. I hadn't deleted the gibbing yard or whatever map. but I deleted phrantic beta. anyway, this "bug" is retarded.

was it? cuz I'm having weird shit happen to me with most of the demos i watch nowadays... onlyt the j4rno-tox demo worked so far =/

nah very weird, demo worked perfectly fine for me last night, now playing back the same file and the demo off the ggl site crashes. I havn't changed any files out of my baseq4 folder so who knows:\

fucking weird.

how do you open these files from within quake 4? ctrl alt tilde? I is teh noob, so please let me know if you can. Just got Quake 4 for xmas, and am having a blast online.

How to play back Q4 demos

demo_enforcefs "1" seems to fix it

q4 shuts down for me if i use that

cause you ain't got all ze paks, you need to start it with +condump to get the info, or check the demo header in a text editor. I had to delete Gibbing Yard (xbmxbmx613deltabeta or some bs) and swq4dm_beta3
