Great game: both players at a very high level in terms of fighting ability. Just perhaps a lack of control - neither really locked the map down.

I dunno, strik was off with his timing early on and voo's was pretty spot on, but it switched throughout the game.

Timing of mega was fine, but both players left a lot of ya's for their opponents when in control.

completely jerky and unwatchable, is there some setting i'm missing? other demos play fine.

These demos are jerky because.... why? Because they're spec demos recorded from somebody half way around the world from the the actual players?

I'm seriously asking. I find it totally random when I get a smooth demo and a jerky demo. Is there a method to the madness?

Doesnt seem to be, for instance on these demos I was on the same server as the other guys and from roughly the same area (central europe) and my ping to it was around 50. At dreamhack the pings were less than 10 and some people said those demos were laggy too, so I guess its just bad code. :(

Are you sure its not something with your settings while recording demo?
Since it's a NETdemo it might be an issue from your side.
Im not accusing you or anything but Ive watched plenty of demos already and only yours have been slightly laggy.

Who knows for sure, it could be on my client/machine but then ALL demos I have made would be laggy, correct? And they aren't. So I'd be surprised if I was doing anything different to anyone else while recording, I mean after all I type the same as everyone else right?

Might have something to do with the shoutcasting...who knows, raven has very good imagination when it comes to ruining the games <3

regular demos are better. it's netdemos that suffer. THere is a price for making them manageable size.

Looking at the play, it wasnt impressive at all. any good player will agree. I think hes behind and has catching up to do.

as a general question, which is the BEST q4 demo right now? i ask because there are only a handful of them right now, and the few i've seen are just not impressive (or rather, spectator friendly). or does the game need more time before it becomes fun to watch?
