I think Scorsese is overrated, but it might be a foreign thing. I might not have the correct key to unlock to unlock his films, because they depend so much on certain american biographies.

But apart from that, they do not appeal to me aesthetically. The music is usually annoying and the camera angles too arty-farty.

Depends what you like really I do have a strong liking for mafia/crime realted stuff but I just find many of his films really entertain me many do overrate him there I do agree. Still I think he should of had a best director by now.
