I believe seeing that 'streamer' years back on Twitch was the first WTF moment for me in terms of actual realisation something is definitely wrong with Twitch. Back then I somehow didn't really append it to the whole 'progressive' or 'conscious' agenda slowly but very surely overtaking any and every remnant of reasonable behaviour and/or proper thought process on the Web, including entertainment sector.

Fast forward many years to the times now when we have violet-painted-hair 'I identify myself as a transgender reindeer girl' idiocracy actually being the ruling caste of Twitch, specifically, can't say that streamer surprises me now, even with the enormous amount of profit she and the likes of such media projects seem to be generating.

What surprises me is the fact this is gradually becoming much and much more acceptable in legal terms, up to a point the things that Twitch banned with no hesitation a couple of years back are now becoming some kind of a gray zone and so on. Have the American laws been slowly morphing to support that, too?

you can go to chans of any game in twitch, you will find women, who, at best, are playing mediocre and are boring, but bethanks to their view count they are among the first suggestions ... but the viewcount is just there because they are flocked by simps ... there really should be an algorithm like in youtube that filters them out ... even in chess there are many GM's with low viewcount, but you can see lowish 2000-2100 ELO rated girls (who of course received special training, trainers, tournament invitations, etc., because they are girls) ... and even that rating they have is sometimes from years ago, because they dont play actively chess since years, in the end they are just there for the simp flocks and use chess as a tool for that ... its pissing me off honestly, especially when I see GM's with such a low viewcount compared to these girls ...

Twitch is about mellow entertainment, maybe they are more entertaining in general, more interesting to listen to, engage more with chat, have more focus on a nice presentation, have a more appealing schedule, are in a younger age group (more twitch watchers are children and teens I assume), mix their streams up more etc pp

That kind of stuff is useful for generating profiles, but it's not fit for video.

They seem to be able to take drawings and art and convert them into more realistic faces using this sort of thing, so I guess a similar process could be used to convert a computer generated face into a more realistic looking face.

There's a few videos on youtube about "first order motion models", which can re-target a person's face onto another person's face, and it can be done in real time.

There's some limitations, but I suspect this technology will only get better with time.
