How many EVGA PSU's you think it would require to power a perpetual energy generator?

trillions, they sure as hell shit cant power 2x palit jetsteams 1070s in sli amd a fx 8300 @4.6ghz while a XTR 650 has no trouble

with sli 3dmark goes from 14000 to 8500

Here's a tip: If you buy a power supply, look it up on this website under the 'OEM' column. The vast majority of power supply sellers do not make their own power supplies and thus you can't deduce the quality of them by comparing it to the quality of the rest of their product stack.

As you can see, the EVGA Supernova T2 850W is manufactured by Super Flower, a Chinese company, and then repackaged by EVGA. You can also see that EVGA uses several different companies as a source for their products, some very good, some pretty bad. This is entirely common, but purposefully misleading, practice and all of the sellers(think of BeQuiet!, Corsair...) do it. My advice would be to buy a power supply listed as having SeaSonic as the OEM, or simply buying a SeaSonic branded power supply outright. In this case, it wouldn't even have been much more expensive; though SeaSonic is usually more expensive when you're shopping in a lower price bracket.

Remember that your PSU is the electrical bridge for everything your computer does. Not having a good one is like having a car with 1000 BHP, but worn out tyres. Similarly, your computer won't be able to put its power down if you have a bad PSU. The one part to diligently research and never skimp on(which you didn't, I know) is the PSU. It sucks that you had to find out in such an expensive way, but now at least you know.

90% of PSU's are made by seaonic, but the seasonic name is crap, while EVGA sounds better

+ the supernova T2 is titanium rated and 96% efficient, so its all anyone will ever need unless they want tri or quad sli/crossfire

850w will easily render iray images in blender and daz3d minimized, and multitask with ease

EVGA got some really good numbers, but (especially true for PSUs) you need to select the specific model as some EVGA PSU's are good, some are total cr*p.
