you should be glad he is doing this stuff, because his talks to thresh, rapha, voo, sujoy, etc., have a low viewcount compared to his other videos on other games ... so basically his stuff is 50 % for ESR and is not much profit for him ... and yeah noone else really is really doing longer interviews with some insight with the quake players, and he is also a good interviewer I think, there might not someone else like him come along anytime soon

yep, and not only that, he's also exposing his viewers to quake. People who are 18yo and don't even know what quake is.

i need to apologize. when i wrote that i did not see what thorin was doing all along. i hadn't watched enough of him to realize his approach. now i just love it. if any game deserves this type of consideration, then it sure is quake. so sorry i wrote that hate comment back then!

I was especially interested in your comments on "the reset" before Thorin interrupted.. after that I just skipped to your responses. I reckon we could've got much more out of this if he wasn't so controlling of the conversation and just let people speak (ddk's new gig has the edge in this regard).

Nice points on pushing for creativity rather than settling for linearity.

I remember meeting Sujoy at the WCG London qualifier in 2000 I think (he was running the qualifier) I was about 17 and so nervous shaking his hand, he was a big celebrity for a young quake player :)
