From what i understand the green line in the lagometer should be as straight as a razorblade.

Mine is not! i dont get it!

I dont have any processes in the background running. Even with a ping of 14 i still have little bumps! My PC is high end with a 1080 GPU etc. I have a cable connection with more then 15 mbit upload and 100 mbit download! I am the only one on the network. I even turn off the wifi on my iPhone..

Please take a look at the screenshots! On the rightside of the screenshot u see the stats of the Asrock Xfastlan program that shows i am not running stuff on the background that can cause lag.

Whats also weird is that that the bumps differ in fullscreen and windowed mode!

Can somebody help me out please? thank you!!

Don't worry about it, that is a very stable green lagometer. You have to remember that your ping is never going to be 14 permanently. Even the most stable of connections will constantly fluctuate between 13 and 14, or 14 and 15, etc... and if it just so happens that such a fluctuation coincides with it needing to draw 2 green pixels instead of 1 green pixel to represent that fluctuation, then you will see it as bumps. This is why it's different when you switch from fullscreen to windowed too.

When you get fluctuations of 2 pixels or more, that's when something isn't right.

btw: I forget what the blue line represents, maybe that's worth investigatiing

I think the blue line is to do with the client being able to keep up with the data stream.

its not the fluctiation in ping that bothers me i like my ping at 28 also. its the little green bumps on the green lagometer that bothers me. i think it has to do with my graphic settings somehow...

Those green bumps represent ping fluctuations not fps issues.

Does anyone know what i means if the green line does noet have any bumps but small little dents? i have this when i have real low pings like 12.

A solid green line with missing parts/dents usually represents an extremely good connection, less than 15ms consistently. Your net graph is brilliant, stop worrying. The reason the net graph becomes different when you go into windowed mode is due to system process priorities being higher when full screen, your full screen net graph looks better,

i tested on https://www.speedguide.net/analyzer.php
it says my MTU is not fully optimized for broadband!!! it says its 1460 but my modem says its 1500!!! anyone know how i can fix this? call isp?

hm, I have no troubles with my connection, but this site says "MTU is not fully optimized for broadband." too. Are you sure this site is really helpful?

You can change your MTU in your router configuration. But afaik 1460 is recommended for ADSL and 1500 for cable. This also wouldn't effect your ping or latency, just your maximum download speed.

de site is good. if its says your MTU is not optimal then thats the case. u should get 1500.

I dont know how much MTU quake live need though.

Hm?
In the two screenshots fps changes from 200 to 250, like you have different Hz in between game and desktop (with sync).
com_idlesleep 0 (Prevents cpu going into sleep mode during low loads in order to save power, 1 causes micro stutters.)
