There was a thread opened here some months ago about this revamped 3.0. People @ overclock.net got their hands on it and discarded it soon after concluding it's wack because of the things you mentioned in your opening post. The sensor skips way too soon, making it virtually useless for gaming.

Depends. If you're content with the G-pro's shape and performance, then I would say no. Personally, the G-Pro was too small for my hands and/or grip. So I boxed and sold it the same week I received it.

Which seems to be a mistake because I read it has a horrid sensor. Will see if I can put a 3366 in it.

Shape is amazing. Sidebuttons are kinda meh. Sensor is not that bad, played some games but need to find a good way to test it. What I read on the internet is people just repeating themselves "BLUETRACK IS SHIT" but I've yet to find any proper testing/reports.

If you have the mouse at home, download "MouseTest.exe", you can check max. velocity for example. You need to measure dpi exactly first though.

So I had the same problem with the backdoor trojan warning. Users here said it's no problem. Then someone posted a modified exe with some dll files separate and it didn't give me any warnings.
