Seriously though, for a serious interview you would have to put serious time aside to interview serious over what happened with him as he's playing a lot of queke chempions now.

Sombra too is playing a lot of qc but i think his interview would be lack lustre, just like the player.

Lithz from Stacked would be a good interview, the guy can move well in defrag and whilst busted for cheating in QL he might have the chance to plead for forgiveness... doubt the community would forgive him but the interview would surely be entertaining.

As for Zhu bakteeen mate, don't feed the Zhu-times, let them die away already.

Offering incentives to cheats which reward them for harming players and the game is not good IMO.

They cheat because they are not good enough to attain the skill they desire, and they don't care about how that affects others players along the way and then you want to give them some reward for that?

Maybe people who cheated and learned etc can be fun if they have a good message, but someone like Z who cheated (despite being a decent player) is the worse kind of reward, plus the guy really wasn't well.

Yeah it can be interesting for trolling, but in esports (especially quake) where there's no real fame and exposure, giving these players a platform and front page exposure, when many good players get nothing feels a bit dirty for me.

For us real quakers, the quakers that play to improve and only to get to that particular point we aspire to get to will ever be able to proudly call themselves early 21st century gamers when we are old.... those that cheated will never be able to nobly recall those times of great, closely fought duels when you maybe lost but learnt why you lost and still remembered as a great challenge that strove you forward to get better without ever entertaining the need to use artificial enhancers of any kind in quake....

Thirdly was the point of this post... it's about how far you want to challenge yourself... only you, trying to improve for you. no cheats, no enhancements.

Quakers don't cheat, some folk that cheated in quake aren't quakers... they are just some folk that played quake and cheated...

Sorry, most likely will get a new mic soon(ish). These "podcasts" are really for our entertainment and the likelihood of it ever being "professional" are quite low. I'll see what I can do with my settings to improve the (admitted awful) quality.

Like someone pointed out, Quakers don't cheat. Cheaters who play Quake cheat. Two really different players in a nutshell.

I find it pretty fun playing against a cheater, reminds me of the ol' spiter bot in Quake 3, You get to try different things and position yourself differently if you know the person is using things like a WH etc.
