I play with bordless option and i have painted crosshairs by my taste for now. But with bordless I have even lower fps.. Cant wait either for crosshairs.

crosshair 2 would have been preferable as a standard one, crosshair 3 is usually for rail, so annoying.

crosshair 3 is actually nice for everything, cause it's an invisible dot + X and Y axis, it combines the versatility of crosshair 2 with the precision of a dot at very long range

and combine that with spread (mg/hmg) or lightningimpact (lg) and you get a pretty accurate crosshair when it comes to relation between crosshair and the visuals you get from the firing guns

one thing i don't like tho, is that the current crosshair 3 @ QC (the very basic and only crosshair available atm) is too small, crosshair 3 has to be rather big imho, not too big, but not too small either, because when it's too small you sees it less with your peripheral vision, which means that you would rather use a simple dot with flashy color.
When it's at the right size (means rather big, but like i said, not TOO big) you have both the benefit of seeing it as a simple + with your peripheral vision and looking at the hole (dot) at the center of the crosshair for more precise shots (long range etc)

crosshair 2 is overrated, it's just that it has been the standard quake crosshair for a decade, so people usually copy/paste the pros without putting any real judgement(s)/analysis into it but just stick to the crosshair they used at day 1 and only play by "feeling", and are too lazy to adapt to new things.

crosshair 2 too small = i'd rather use a simple dot, less overlap, more precision
crosshair 2 too big = shit for long range

This version is bad for me, lagging a LOT of the time, even in duels + way outside peak hours.

E3 version was the best I seen, apart from the BJ abuse stuff.
