ESR - Random music thread

What do you mean, higher up? Technical guitar players, not just metalheads, hold guitar that way to optimize fret access, minimize stress and hand movement. We obviously didn't evolve playing guitars, but grasping branches, so the finger movements,chords of the guitarist are generally pretty unnatural. The stuff the guys above are playing, at that speed, they wouldn't even be able to play if the guitar was any lower.

Actually I think that pic shows almost the same position. Keep in mind, classical guitar is thicker so you have to bend forward a bit too.
