I doubt it. I played with this mouse for 2 years at stock 125hz. When i first got to know about overclocking usb and tried other mouserates it felt like shit. Like neg accel for sure. Too much inconsistent. (Have to add i played high sens 7-8cm)

Obviously u wont see it (any? Neg accel on any mouse..) at 7-8cm, but even at around 9~cm/360 (12 sens in q3) somone can begin movin the mouse fast enuf to see it.

Unlockin the mouses full potential at 500+hz was also shown a decade ago in sujoys original mouse malfunction/perfect control tests like a decade ago, one of the biggest/most popular articles on this site. Its proven knowledge when it comes to any kinda data facts about this mouse.

Uhh a decade ago... When i was using the mx300 it was ages before the that sujoy mouse benchmark. Dont compare high sens with 30+ cm people. Mx300 was also known for zero acceleration, no matter how slow you move the mouse. There is no need for high pollingrate on slow movement. Its a myth.

125Hz polling rate will create up to 8ms of input lag. That's why people run quake at million FPS even though their screens can't display it. It's all about that response time. Higher or lower sens won't change that.

Nice statement. Yet it has nothing to do with acceleration/no acceleration. It's a very known fact that people with lower sens are much more affected by input lag of any kind. 500 /1000hz is a problem if you barely move your mouse. The rate just doesnt max out as quick, which results in in unstable aiming/tracking.
I know you low sens people have hard time to understand it.

Relax. I never made any claims about the presence or absence of built-in acceleration in any mouse. I was just addressing your statement:

There is always a reason to increase polling rate beyond 125Hz regardless of your sens or how you use your mouse, and that reason is to reduce total input lag in the game. Input lag is probably the biggest killer of performance around. I would definitely rate it as a bigger problem than a small amount of acceleration that you can get used to. I play with acceleration anyway, so I don't see anything special about absolute zero acceleration. There is nothing inherently linear about the way your muscle memory works.

The only reason not to increase polling rate is if it causes an even bigger problem than the high input lag you are definitely going to be getting at 125Hz. I simply wouldn't use any mouse with such a problem.

By the way, I'm not a low sens person. I use 16cm / 360 degrees with acceleration. :P
(Not quite as high as you, but definitely considered on the high end of things.)

Maybe if you use a very low DPI.
In any case, unless your game is running at 1000fps, the game will buffer up your mouse inputs and effectively average them out, removing any stutter resulting from your mouse's inability to report a non-integer count in a single poll. Besides, at 1000fps, I'd be very surprised if that stutter, consisting of minuscule variations in look-angle change per frame for a constant mouse speed, would not average out visually.

I would think that assuming your mouse operates perfectly, it really comes down to a choice between input lag or this probably imperceptible stutter when moving the mouse at very slow speeds.

Just think about it for a second dude It will be hard to find a mouse that doesnt have "neg accel"/SRAV at 125hz, if one even exists. Obviously

Mouse with cable and no weight: 82g.
No cable no weight: 80g (cable completely removed).

So mouse itself without cable is 93g oO sounds more like logitech g3

Yeah, I expected it to be lower too. Weirdly enough it doesn't feel that heavy (without the weight anyway). I hate mice which are heavier than the old abyssus, but the mx300s weight doesn't bother me.

the mx300 does not report stably at 500 or 1000.
srav is very low as you probably expected, but there will be inconsistencies above 250hz because polls will be dropped, therefore srav will exist.

it can actually track higher at 1khz than sujoy's tests proved (around 8m/s), but because of the variance in reports per second, it will not be consistent.
i suspect the sensor was always capable of reaching ~8m/s, but the firmware does not properly support it. it was made to be used at 125hz after all.

you can see this stuff with MouseTester, i think the latest version is 1.5.3.

it isn't really anything you should worry about, though. not with LED illuminated sensors at least.
the 9500 and 9800 laser sensors are about the only "gaming sensors" that have problematic levels of srav.
