First we went from the atomic edition (1996) which had 1 new episode, then years later we had the megaton editon (2010s) with all 3 addon Duke episodes. Now we have this which not only lacks Duke it out in DC, Duke Caribbean, and Duke Nuclear Winter. they only added a new episode and not those mentioned 3 expansions, and then making a $20 price tag on there

gearbox did something. its not nothing.

new episode from the original makers, rewind feature, new lightning, port by nerve, 1 new weapon / enemy from source code, re recording voice, new voice sentences, new music for the new episode, development commentary, multiplayer, workshop support.

that costs money, and i want that people get paid for work.

its not clear what engine they use. besides, its a commercial release. the dn3d scene has eduke. sure it would be a dream to have a source port that unite the mod/map scene and the commercial port ...
