North face of les droits, seems like a guy who was hardcore, sorry to hear! Always a tragedy.

We go pretty safe, some people do that route without rope, but we felt that it was a bit of a gamble, most alpine routes have such bad rock and we had rockfall and avalanches in the colouir to the left of us.

2 years ago 3 guys from finland died on this route, they got a huge boulder on them and got crushed. So yea, i hope i will always be safe in the mountains.

i'd absolutely love to do mountaineering like this but you're right it is just far too risky, at least for me.
