Hello quakers. I'm new in this forum or site.. Whatever. I just came around to talk about this player, I've met this guy several times (dueller) and I wanted to ask the opinion of the biggest community (yay) of quake live. Who's this guy? A pro dueller? Seems that he played against some top dueller and he put the videos on youtube as well, it seems clean to me but I leave to you the final verdict. Here you have the videos that I was talking about

it's either daddy (cause of weird mouse movements sometimes, and unsmooth playstyle), or cypher without mouseaccel (only 10% chance it could be him tho) or some random using wallhack and aim-assist from time to time.

Not really, we all know that it's impossible to play with a vpn because of the extreme lag and high ping and it would be no-sense, it's not needed I guess. I just think that they are more cheaters out there than what people know, you just need to familiarize more with the enviroment.

I play only on vpn cause rotuing from Kazakhstan is shit. I also use it to connect to servers that arent russian or kazakh as they are filtered.

I dont lag and my ping is actually better going from 100 to moscow to 56-60 and 70-90 to europe.

just because you use a bad vpn with bad routing does not mean that everyone else on vpn will lag.

Only reason you would know if he was strange is if you look at qlstats or steam profile. most of us dont care enough and loosing in a game to cheaters is not the end of world.
Every time i play now i see people crying about elo. Everytime i play after qlranks opened everyone was crying too.

Look at the player base. There is next to nobody playing the game.

If you are a high level player (2.2k+ elo or so), you pretty much know who is who. If you see an unknown nick, I suspect that's typically a lower level player (i.e. not a challenge), then less likely there is a faker or a cheater.

Either way, I suspect that a high elo player playing random nicks can expect the opponent to be significantly weaker without looking at qlstats.

So again, do they know it's the guy or not?

If they realize he is cheating they go other server or kick the player after game.
end of story

worrying about who can be cheating is a waste of brain cells.
getting angry over loosing to a cheater is waste of time.
in the end you loose some time and some pointless rank.

It's 99% certainly daddy.

He played rapha before quakecon and was without doubt aimbotting, rapha ended up winning in end while on 100+ ping though.

Here is the game i mean.

He is without a doubt wallhacking you can even see his confusion when opponent is out of range on map and being removed by the game.
If you want a example of what i mean try using wolfcam with cg_wh 1 on your demo.

The guy in that game isn't daddy. Daddy did play with Rapha in the past, and beat him. His playstyle is completely different, and he isn't as dumb as the guy in that video.

Rapha would have 0 chances to beat daddy on 100 ping.

A long time cheater who abuses every cheat under the sun, and managed to beat Rapha, Cypher, Strenx, Evil, Cooller, and many others. All those matches are on youtube. He gets banned regularly but always came back, with a different nick. He's also a friend of syncerror, they occasionally play together
