No really, flat out, he was hacking, I used to have a copy of the demo he was banned for, maybe someone out there still does, there was no debate.
The ESR thread where he kept changing his mind about why he did it wasn't just a troll thread.

What you're getting into is the you'll-never-know-the-truth question of was he *always* cheating.

But the fact remains that he cranked his bot up when he raged against someone he thought was using a bot, the demo was available, and he got permbanned from the pre-steam version for it.

I absolutely agree it's not absolute proof of all the prior games.

But when he's been under suspicion for a long time by pros, and just happens to have the bot all set up and ready, and just cranks it up mid game when he finally flips his lid, it's certainly not zero grounds for suspicion either.

I did however only actually post originally so that there wasn't any confusion over the fact that he was banned, and that it was for cheating, because the opening post claimed otherwise.

i mean, all set up and ready is quite a stretch i think. i can say with certainty that i could google 'quake live aimbot' and get a 100% bot, and from my experience of cheating, aimbots doesnt have the option of being both hard to detect and hitting 100%, unless ogc type stuff have become a lot more sophisticated since mid 2000's. but is that really the case since people are still paying for good cheats?????

I don't think serious was cheater. Sure he had that strange super shaky and responsive lg movement but clawz has that too. Now i don't know how humanized aimbot works but his lg acc lowered at longer distances like any other player would with an average sens.

clawz is nowhere near serious lvl in term of aim tho

If i had the demo i would show you clawz hitting near 50 lg on cure just whoring the lg like 3 games in a row. Albeit those players were quite a bit lower in terms of skill but so was the serious ca demo and this is duel we're talking about.

almost any top player can hit 50lg on some situations.

but serious was ALWAYS hitting 45+%lg against ANY player and in ANY situation

well, actually, i think, like many of us, that he cheated

but other than that he's a pretty cool dude tbh, but yeah he kinda has his "periods" when he becomes an ass. But same could be said for me :)

In duel we played quite a lot and I managed to drop his lg to 37-39% in more than a few games + I was near his lg accuracy most of the time(maybe 1-2% lower, but that's nothing. He was better raw aimer, but I positioned better thus hit similar) + we ended around 50/50 in wins. Also he evolved and became better with time AND he started to hit better rail towards the end, i.e. evolved in gameplay and aim. So I am not sure about cheats.

The real problem is if someone have already good and precise aim + turn on aimbot on the lowest settings. All his near misses will be little corrected and hits. That can easily make a good solid 39-40% lg aimer to go up to 45+% one. Same for the RG - all the super near misses will be hits. It will be like a good aimer to have a great condition aim day all the time.

This is also hard to detect, you know that not one or two players where suspected at some point and periods of time. Even strenx as he hit hard on LAN, but nowhere near his online performance aim wise(his zotac times where he made a lot of money wining every single online tournament he enters for months, hitting TONS better than anyone else with hitscan). :)

Dunno in ca, but in duel they are similar in lg + clawz hits more rails/harder rails. Aim in duel is different than aim in ca. After all aiming good is more than pure raw aim skill(tracking, reacting, precision). Also in duel the asset is a little different, there clawz shine more.

yeah i'm not talking about duel i'm more talking about 1v1/2v2/4v4 CA ;)

Also a lot of people played him LG vs LG 1on1 and got hit with way higher accuracies than if I played him, I figured out how to dodge it, so did I figure out how to dodge a bot? what?

Some of the better known CA players use high sensitivities like teo/teuz, knoxe and gohan

Still possible to track. Played before cpma with that kind of sens and still hit 50+ rail and 35+lg (back then was way harder to hit uber high lg).
