easy: all the players now plays 90% of their time OW. This benefits agent as he is more control based player while evil is more fighting based player. Normally the different fps game will impact more evil than agent. :)

Btw, funny to see how quakecon is so close and none of the top players give a sh*t... they just play OW mostly and super little quake here and there. Noone cares even right before the tournament... :/

I'm not sure about how the other top tier duelers train, but from this side of the pond I remember that Dahang and Rapha would start practicing only a few weeks before Qcon -- unless of course CTF was involved(which they both did); in that case, they would start a few weeks earlier.
I think these 20-25 duelers who have put in thousands and thousands of play hours have the basic tactics hardwired into their motor system. The last few weeks leading up to the tournament really only tweak minor adjustments in their game.

True, I just miss the times when everyone started to play 24/7 like 3 months before the big tournament... was trilling to see them exalt and fight among them in online tournaments. :(

Great! Another exciting Sunday cup that can be ruined by agent's poor sportsmanship. Truly exhilarating. I seriously might be watching OW instead because it will likely have more excitement and players that actually care about the game. Still, thanks for continuing to organize, Nico & Co, just please consider doing something to demotivate behavior like agent's, as it's just a really negative element these days!

seems like the admins were confused about the reiteration of t7 as much as the viewers, yet decided not to intervene because by the moment of clear understanding of what had happenned the two had already played a minute or so and perhaps because it's always getting too sensitive when dealing with agent
