Correct me if I'm wrong, but investing money on a player seems awfully similar to betting

except that the bet won't only be decided at a player's game, his reputation the negative or positive comments he receive, the pluses he receive, and then his games will affect his/her stock

i still have no idea wtf you're on about.

what his saying is that you could hold your faith on a player much longer instead of getting frustrated in an instant just because of one game

let's say

you bet all in one million dollars in one game in an instant


or


you invest one million dollars long term so one game won;t affect your emotions that much

tldr:

short term high risk

or

long term low risk (as you can sell your stock incase you are starting to lose faith in your investment )

The skill in betting on individual fights is knowing the individuals and how they compare and play against each other, with the given maps etc.

What OP is suggesting is that people should basically bet long term on whoever seems strongest at the start of the season. Sounds great ^^
