I spoke to him yesterday actually and he just got himself a new pc, (apparently there was water spilled on his old machine and it got completely fucked).

As to when / if he will appear on stream. No idea :(.

(aw will be replaced with donator's choice map>

From now every sunday cup is a part of the two-months-season, top8 from every sunday cup earns not only money, but points too. 1st place 8 points, 2nd place 7 points, 3rd place 6 points, 4th place 5 points, 5-6 places 3.5 points, 7-8th places 2.5 points. At the end of the season top8 points players will play "Season Final".
Old system with two group stages and playoff is cancelled. I will write more about it a bit later today.

you can sync Folders to a Device whith that tool, or running a FreeNAS mini PC to sync the Files on a more Stable File System :)

Well, you have to learn and gain wisdom about never loosing files again ...

On other OS'es you have to do physical backups on seperated HDD's, forget Win & OSX & Lin, you will loose files in one or the other way.
(There is a funny story about that here ...)

An other way is to use FreeBSD / PCBSD and try to install Btsync from the repository.

keep the orginal file demo name in one folder ...

Those NAS systems are cheap to maintain, even good for local storage when you don't trust the cloud & your email adress ...

once hacked then you have a problem (thats why i posted the yubikey topic)

If people want demos I have huge (no really) zip files containing nearly all the 125FPS events from the last year. The only reason I have no uploaded them to any of the major sites is I do not have them ordered at all.

... but just throwing it out there if anyone ever wants demos lol. I will try to get the bulk of them put up, and maybe there is a brave soul or two willing to sort them.

ZIP is lost with all files ...

ZFS has LZ4 data compression, don't know if it helps to compress the files, since a demo is a compressed file anyway ?
