I never did play that game which came out back in 2007. Did you purchase the STALKER bundle on Steam?

They are steam keys but I bought them all from https://www.bundlestars.com/en/bundle/stalker-complete-bundle

That site would save me $30.00 on the bundle. All my game purchases were directly from Steam. How does this key thing work?

you just sign up buy what you want and they display your keys which you then enter into steam and it adds them to your library.

You throw bolts at anomalies, powerful magnetic spots that have hazardous effects... And personally I don't think it's less fun. Some anomalies you can't see, some you can't hear. What's the fun of walking into an anomaly that you cannot see or cannot hear and dying to it? What's the fun of walking through an anomaly cluster not knowing whether your next step will be your last? The bolts aren't just there for revealing anomalies either, some anomalies will not affect the player for a short period of time if a bolt has been thrown at it. Not only that. Anomalies are only a small part of the STALKER franchise, yet they add so much more to the otherwise empty world. If bandits and monolith aren't trying to kill you, then the ground you're walking on is.

I have the Pripyat one. On DVD even. Played for a few hours. Awesome and scary as hell. I don't need this kind of stress. So I stopped playing. Screw that man...

This game (SoC, the only one I played) needs a quake3weapons+hitsounds mod so badly. Vanilla gameplay is absolutely atrocious if you're used to quake where there's no bullet spread, iron sights or recoil but feedback whether your shots actually hit. Realism in fps just doesn't work. And the maps would make for fun strafejumping playgrounds.
