I wouldn't really care about any South America vs. North America match in CTF, but I suppose that's my European perspective. For the Americans, it would surely also be nice to see.

CTF: looking to see how top euro and south american teams fair against BREAK

TDM: Most points up for grabs here, there is a lot of variance among top teams in tdm and I think we can expect some upsets.

Duel: Cypher is in top form looking to be the first repeat Quakecon Duel champion since Tox (2006-2007) and only the 3rd ever player to accomplish the feat (ZeRo4 2000-2001). If he wants to win he's going to have to make his way through a stacked field; Dahang, Cooller, Tox, Rapha, Evil, Fazz, ect., and they are all out for blood... and there's no losers bracket to climb out of, a match loss significantly reduces your chances of making the final.

The times rapha didn't win quakecon duel masters he attended; meaning 2010, 2012 & 2014 he focused more on team games(CTF/CA).

2010: Placed 3rd in the CTF tournament.
2011: Placed 4th in the TDM tournament.
2012: Placed 1st in the CTF tournament.
2013: This year he won both the Duel and the CA 3v3 tournament.
2014: Placed 2nd in the CTF Open tournament.

Meaning Rapha has 5 first places at Quakecon; 3 duel and 2 team based tournament wins.
This is the same as Zero4, who also has 3 duel and 2 team based tournament wins.

In addition cl0ck has 3 Quakecon team based tournament wins.


This makes f-eM! a force to be reckoned with !!

zorak rushes the items too much, just because he feels he has time on them. + he just rushes a lot in general. idk if that would work on LAN vs someone like rapha who can methodically rape u, and cypher who'd be like ya sure take all the items but here's 400 dmg, and toxic who would just sit and wait for the rush. will see how he does this year but I think he's significantly lacking the experience of the other top players who are going.

I'm sure he will adjust accordingly. From what I've seen Zorak is underrated I think he will play well at the tournament. I just hope he stays confident and does not get nervous. He will definitely not have experience advantage and for all I know this may be his first tournament appearance. Only a few days remaining to see these exciting matches.

Deffo not. I wish Zorak caused some upset, he's pretty much the only new blood besides Clawz in duel, but the Belarussian unfortunately won't play duel (shame, shame).

Zorak is very good, very underrated. But after watching his youtube videos and hearing his match overviews, I feel like he's going to get real nervous in a LAN setting. We'll see though, I'd love to see him wreck top players at his first Qcon
