Shadow man is my favourite though, such an underrated game because it was too scary when it was released.

Love Drakan, I really wish they would make a sequel. I'm kinda surprised they are not ressurecting this franchise since the dragons are incredibly popular these days thanks to Game of Thrones and whatnot.

Yea it's a nice game. But the franchise is somewhat there with skyrim, dragonage, oblivion and whatever there are. But those new ones doesn't look appealing to me.

Another cool game I remember now is wheel of time. Based on a novel or something so it's hard to understand the fully concept.

It's based on the quake1 engine I believe and has pretty much the same physics, so I had a lot of fun experimenting with it + spells that works like mines or something that can be used to rocket jump lol.

even spells that makes you switch position to yourself and an enemy, so once I met a halfboss I jumped off a cliff and fire that spell and second after I see the enemy fly off cliff and die :D

I loved classic DM with reload, but yea :) Good old times.

I was playing Q2 at the time SOF2 came out and some of my clan mates started playing it... wish I wouldn't of been so Loyal to Q2 and tried other games.

I somehow miss SOF2 too, but it was nothing like SOF1 anyway. When i started playing SOF1 in 2003 the sequel was already out. I only started playing SOF2 in ~ 2006 because SOF1 was pretty much dead in DM. CTF wasn't too active eighter. The game was already out for 6-7 years, and unfortunately was never as acitve as CS and Quake. I just wish activision would have cared only half as much about the franchise as about COD.

first time I saw zyv (I think) doing bridge to rail on dm6 in a casual game made my yaw drop.

I have fond memories of everything that came out on the Amiga 500+ and then later playing N64 and SNES games with my mates in school breaks etc... games such as Donkey Kong Country, NBA Jam TE, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo and NBA Live, whilst on the N64 we playing a lot of Mario Kart 64, Lylat Wars and Goldeneye.
And of course the Playstation had so many such as Ridge Racer, Tekken series, Wipeout and Gran Turismo to name a few.

And having my Quake CD ready for when my first PC arrived!

Amiga 500 was so badass in its time vs the rest of the home computers that it wasnt even fair.

I actually miss Quake Live. haven't played it in like 2 years. When I try to connect I'm locked into permanent "connection interrupted" and my upload is so slow it takes like 30 seconds to upload a low quality image.

When it comes to offline games, if I'd really miss something, I'd just start playing it. These days I play mostly games from 90s anyway.

Just like Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, for example, I wonder if id software will rename it "Syncerror's Quake Live".

I have some hope for Doom 4, and im looking forward for Carmageddon Reincarnation, but it seems performance wise its a mess and the devs and their fanboys don't want to admit it.
