Today, after +-10 years of service, my WMO is showing signs of dying. It will 'disconnect' and 'connect' randomly, tried several USB ports, no change. Sad day.

Wich is today the best alternative to the masterpiece called Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse? I don't like gimmicks like 34234 buttons, DPI buttons or additional weights. For me, the WMO is the perfect mouse. I use the XL Qck+ Fnatic mouse pad.

There is no close replacement.
WMO is not best.
It's only best for people who were using it for long time.

Abyssus 2014 w firmware update (NO synapse) = Good
Zowie FK1 = Good

Rest on that list is also good but those 2 are better imo, excluding the G100S as I haven't tried that one yet.

update: opened the mouse, it was filthy as fuck - 10 years of dirt and grime accumulated inside. But couldn't fix it, sadly. Its oficially dead.
Will buy a new WMO from dachang soon, anyway.

I might be switching to something more like a Microsoft intellimouse 3.0 if i can find one on craigslist or even ebay. but for others im looking at Steelseries and zowie. and this is something to replace my current deathadder (the 2013 version).
