I'm looking for a new mouse. I tried a logitech g9x and I actually really liked it without the case and weight tray bullshit so I guess I want something small and light. Roccat Pyra looked promising but its super expensive, same with g9x. CM Storm have some small but apparently they have issues with Mumble (wtf?) so that's out. I'd like something with at least one side button but that/s not a deal breaker. Halp.

tldr: cheapest, good claw grip mouse pls

Don't know if it's the cheapest but I previously used the g9x and now the g100s, and I have to say it's my favorite mouse I've owned so far (also previously used g400, IME 3.0). I use claw/fingertip grip.

and of course the g100s is significantly cheaper. It's a great mouse too, personally I recommend removing the weight that is inside.

As far as I'm aware it's the older Abyssi that have the jitter problem, but the 2014 version does not. The problem it did have though is the low pcs, and this is why I recommend the latest firmware.

Cm storm would also have the Xornet, which has the same shape as the mouse you probably was refering to with mumble issues (spawn). it's only best at 500DPI tho, 1000dpi might be acceptable too and it is very cheap.
mice which come close to the g9x shape would be corsair M40/M45(they weight 98g without extra weights).

xornet looks interesting and it's cheap. my only concern is the weird ring finger rest thing. i wish companies would stop trying to get clever with the shape and dpi and just make a simple, small light mouse with a decent sensor (fuck u bst).

it's very different to everything else.

I wouldn't call the xornet small, more like short and wide.
Sigh, I would use it if I could use the 1000cpi step and the sensor was positioned better.

I just found the stock ones a bit too rough. There are more expensive ones you can buy, but I bought the hotline games ones from takasta's ebay store, and they're fine.

As an aside, researching this has shown me how stupid the the whole "gamer" culture is. It is so weird watching people waffling on about 6000 dpi, LED lights and 13923 programmable macro buttons while playing BF3 badly at 4cm/360 sensitivity. Then talking about how each piece of gear fits in aesthetically with the rest of your shit? lmbo
