Ok this is kind of a long shot but there is a startup company called Iron Gaming which has provided production setup for other medium/small US based LANS (AGL, Gamers 4 Giving, ect ect).
They have hosted a couple of LANS in chattanooga TN and have paid out the winners.
Any way they are currently having a vote for one Console game and one PC game for their "Community" supported games. They have $50k of their own investments for the prize money of their community supported games.
They are aiming to do a season with online qualifiers and LANS which all lead up to a big final at the annual Rooster Teeth Expo in Texas this summer.
So here's the long shot, they haven't considered Quake Live since probably no one has brought it up to them yet. WE CAN GET THEM TO CONSIDER QUAKE LIVE IF WE GET ENOUGH VOTES. The other PC games they are considering for their community supported game are mostly mobas. Quake Live Duel or 4v4 can have an advantage since both game modes require less resources to run compared to the 5v5 moba games.
