Screw indie games, just download a snes + genesis emulator and roms, there are millions of amazing games I never played or even heard of that had professional dev teams working on them in the 90's as the only games I got were at Xmas and Birthday, or swapped at school and we all tended to buy the same stuff.

I like indie games, they usually are cheap and have low system requirements for people how don't have gaming pc's. But sure some are quite lacking and despite them being cheap I like to make sure that they are worth even the few bucks I dash out.

I rarely ever bother trying non-indie games anymore. It's like all the big players in the industry decided they wouldn't produce a single good game anymore.

Check out Limbo or point-and-click adventure games from Amanita Design! Casual games, but fun and beautiful.

I'm addicted to The Binding Of Isaac.
Can't wait for the rebirth version.

I had more fun with indie games than AAA games in the past 2 years or so.

The binding of Isaac is hella addicting, clocked 120hrs in it without niticing when it was new.
Hotline Miami is also a very good concept, and it has almost quake-like pace.
