On Sunday 17 November, starting at 09:00 CDT, FACEIT will be hosting the Road 2 DreamHack event. All European players attending DreamHack Winter are invited to join the tournament, to have a shot at paid traveling expenses to Jonkoping, Sweden, all covered by FACEIT!

Everything will be live on FACEIT TV, brought to you by your faithful host

Daniel "ddk" Kapadia, who is joined by

Romain "dem0n" Leclercq. The show will go live at 09:00 CDT on www.twitch.tv/faceittv!

The map pool for the tournament is the same as played at DreamHack Winter.

Yes paying for a subscription is the best way to support us here at Faceit.com, or just using our site in general is a start we have a lot of cups that we run daily for QL in N.A. We also offer four free cups that you can join monthly if you want to use our platform but do not have the funds available to purchase a subscription.

Looking for one or two more people who haven't found accomodation yet, I might have found a nice cheap place 5 min by car to the DH place for 4-5 people. Currently I would be going with plazma and etty. Ideally we'd like a swedish bra so he can get in touch with the guy renting the place because the price isn't settled in stone.

If we can get something between 60-100�/night for 4-5 people I think it would be really interesting dontcha all think ?!

ash and agent could try nevertheless, because some spots is definetly going to free, due to firebot and guard, 2 minimum and obviously the best from the new contenders will be chosen. we should look at this cup as an official pre-DH cup, otherwise it makes no sense at all and Agent would just cripple everybody for no good reason at all

I can't watch Faceit, even on low. I have to watch it on my iPhone on 'Mobile' which is like 144p Quality and you can't even see anything :((
But I can watch Zoot on Medium, which is very good, but I don't understand why I can watch Zoot on Medium but Faceit I can't even watch it on low ... :((

I use Opera and Ghostery. I deleted Chrome due to privacy concerns. I basically use 2 browsers, Opera for everything except QL, and Bazinga for QL which basically is like QLPrism for Mac ;))

The "Twitch EU lag fix" extension for chrome has now allowed me to watch any stream @ source quality now (previously lagged on high at times. I'm not sure how safe or trusted it is, but it works well so idc. Apparently re-directs to US twitch servers which are a lot better.

great stuff.. always the same shit.
some "pros" announce that they are going to the LAN and just before the LAN they "quit* or "miss a flight" and the tournament has to be filled last second with some other players (from sweden obviously). Next time don't pick just the name, but pick some players that are actually active. I mean its great to hear, that some inactive players want to go to dreamhack, but sometimes its better to let some mid-tier players go. Those players really want to go and as long as the top 4 players are still going, the result wont differ that much from a tournament with "retired stars".
And I'm not at all talking about me, I did not even apply nor am I planning to go.

Solution: If you want to apply you have to pay like 300 dollars or something. You'll get them back if you are at the LAN. If you somehow are too dumb to catch a flight, you'll lose your 300 dollars and it will be added to the price pool. Like this it can't be avoided that some people drop out last second, but at least they suffer as much as the tournament and the spectators do.

Well i like the idea but 300 dollars i a lot of money if you are young or a student. Anything can happen that will make you not go, you can get seriously ill, get family issues etc etc. 50 dollars or so is enough.

If you are a serious player you will get a way to get 300 dollars, if you are guaranteed to get it back anyway.
You could even have some solutions that youll get the monney back if you have a letter from a M.D. that you are ill (like at work) or some other official document (death of a family member ...)

look up kirovo-chepetsk on google maps. it's in europe, way far from siberia. it's just a small town far from main internet interconnections. ash gets better ping from ekaterinburg despite living much far to east than pavel. ekaterinburg is located on transsiberian, so by default has a better connection.

what i wanted to say, we could have more great games if brackets were configured just a little bit better. but we didn't.

I would assume that they implement it so that there is a second POV and player cam at the same spot. They switch back and forth between player and POV on that spot. And player/second cam isn't on all the time.

Thanks for clearing it up.

It's really frustrating to follow a tournament looking forward to the final, and after turning away for 5 mintues there's no final being played and no official information about the winner.

Why would cypher even participate then? It seems unfair for everybody who lost against him -- especially the player who lost against him in the semi-final imo doesn't deserve the win much less than av3k. :|

k1llsen vs cypher turns out always the same
A) Cypher has the better start, K1llsen wants to give away frags to get control back. Afterward he can't get enough frags back because Cypher doesn't give away anything.
B) K1llsen does some amazing in fight tricks or moves to steal an item midfight, gets total control. Then relentlessly +forwards into cypher's directs and +back, missjudges the stacks the following battle, overcommits to the fight and loses because he forced the encounter and ate the first rocket. Sad but true.

The lesson as always, K1llsen stop +forwarding always the same way into direct rockets and try to catch cypher with his pants down when he has to move somewhere.

Why do you feel aversion towards the people from ESReality?

I don't visit that site since a few years. Already in Q4 times there were mainly a bunch of idiots, that besides their computer don't have much to do and are losers in normal life. They speak about different players in a provocative way. And there they sit, a band of trolls typing shit with their keyboards the whole day and feeling happy because of it. Since a long time already I try to get on their nerves however I can. They also flame polish people. Too bad they're not aware of the fact, that if they would come to where I live in Poland, the kids from primary school nr. 4 wouldn't let them leave the street with their shoes and cellphones :D, yet they are so resourceful and life experienced :( ohlawd :ASdasd.
