It's not the video you asked for but here is a list with vods from the Learn2Play Quake Live series they did at the GDstudio , 5 episodes and I'm pretty sure he also talks about movement in one of them.

Takes more time but if you can't find the older video it's better than nothing, also since they talk about pretty much everything in the game your friend should learn a lot.
