Yeah but you see, that was my first season. I was still a rookie. Then I scored 1700+, then the last season I kinda got bored and stopped making transfers, then my team died.

I done went for

Cech in goal with Shay Given as sub (awesome keeper and was the minimal potential price for a keeper so why not add him as a sub. Schwarzer is a good keeper but surely he'll be nr2 at Chelski, and it's good to have a keeper from a team that tends to keep clean sheets the most.

Defenders: Kocielny (thank fuck I am not in week one, this fucker got red carded), Evra, Glen Johnson. (it's better to go for fullbacks or centerbacks who tend to score a lot of corners, sami hyypia or john terry style), as they tend to create a lot of plays and assists and goals count up the score. Nathan Baker and Steven Whittaker as subs (whittaker scored this gameweek).

Mid: Stevie fookin Gerrard ( /o/ $$$ \o\ ), Michu (last season he scored a fuckton of goals son), Steven Pienaar who has consistently been a solid midfielder at Everton, and Kevin Nolan, with some dude from Southampton from midfield.

Strikers, I had Dzeko, Soldado and Berbatov. Dzeko would still score a lot of goals this season, as his goal ratio in the premiership is the best at Man City so far, Negredo would definitely be higher up than Dzeko for starting places but now with Tevez and Belletti gone and Jovetic probably featuring slightly less then Dzeko. Soldado cos needed a Tottenham player (it's good to keep player variety because then even if a good team does bad, your players from other would overcompensate the score), and I'm hoping with at least half the consistency he scored in la liga. Berbatov was a "talented but budgeted" option, cos he'd score quite a lot.

the rules are a bit gay. my RVP is worth 10 points...a guy at works RVP is worth 20...the captain bonus is bs...i actually awarded my captaincy on leadership skills...not on their point potential =/ otherwise i would have RVP'd!

I needed to completely revamp my team, but I feel confident about my new lineup. In overall, I made 8 transfers for Week 2. This meant I had to use my wildcard though, so from now on, I can't make that much. ;(

But understand that you can't do that. You could've pushed the 2nd Chelsea game to Week 2, but then you would've needed to push their monday game to Week 3. Now, Manchester United wouldn't have a Week 2 game. There's really no better solution here.

Subs: If let's say, one of your players doesn't play this week, but you had him in your starting lineup, then a substitution is made. The first guy on your bench comes on. You can change the order of the subs, who comes first, who comes last.

Yes, pretty similar how the Vice Captain works. If your Captain didn't play a single minute, your VC's score doubles.

I would hold on with any final judgements about City's quality. The thrashing they gave United is more the fault of Moyes' minimalistic approach and it becoming more and more apparent how bland United's squad is without Fergie's guidance than anything spectacular on the part of City. Don't forget this is the same team that lost to Cardiff not too long ago.

This. United has been terrible against big teams so far this season.
