I used to have problems with DE servers a while back. Sometimes 30ish, sometimes 60+

Then I found out about net_restart.

I have no idea what it does really but it's like fucking magic. I always try it if I have weird ping issues (i.e. can't be explained by forgotten torrents in the background or something like that). It works surprisingly often
