Kind of makes me wish you could detonate grenades with railgun in ql.

I played ut04 back in 2004-2005 or something and I was OK. But the combo thing is only in theory a good thing. The max dmg what you can make with all the weapons is just stupid. Armors become useless. I liked the granade-combo in PK far more.

UT's weapons design is nice, i will never understand why all of the Unreal Tournament's video makers are so obsessed with not drawing the guns

because the demoplayback doesnt show weapons. Rypelcam adds support for it, but it is not 100% perfect (e.g. weaponswitch comes too late, so it appears you are shooting while changing weapons).

ut's movement is just ridicules in comparison to everything else, in the good sense. Still, rsi in the left hand is almost certain, so fast your fingers have to move when playing on that level. I admire the guys who do it, but I would be exhausted after 5mins doing that kind of movement. I have tried, dodging becomes second nature, but the mental stress of having to dodgejump ALL THE TIME gets tiering very quickly

Well I played SSF2x on a keyboard for a while :D
Gave me a feel for fast double taps.

The combat movement is awesome but using dodge to go long distances is blah.

Ut99, hell unreal had the same dodge - instead of adding the retarded double jump to 2k3/4 they should have added a basic strafe/bunnyhop for fluid long distance movement.

Always state the framerate of the movie, please.
