i remember playing the demo and realized it used the quake 2 engine so i tried changing the fov in console and it worked. I made a zoom bind and just headshotted everyone

this was my first online game that i started to play more. I love that game, its like u never forget about the first love ;)

kingpin was pretty cool, it used a lip sync technique called: "shit son, your face is water"

Kingpin atmosphere was awesome, sadly i didnt finished it, in reality i didnt played it much at all, was busy playing quake or something.

This game was A+, i remember how extatic i was when i finally found the accumulator for the motorcycle and could progress on =)))

and multiplayer was actually called "gang bang" :D too bad i couldnt try =(

Only thing I hated about the game is when you get shot the bullets don't take time to travel and they register instantly with 100% accuracy. Only way is to completely hide from your target if you don't want to take damage.

I'm glad I never did a bypass on this game. I remember installing the demo from a magazine disc and spend hours trying to figure out how to pass the first mission with a pipe.

Anyway I truly hope they don't remake this game because it's just going to get PG and suck ass. I mean some kids frown up on these golden lines you see in that video. This game raised the bar in awesomeness!

also, this game has qw like bunnyhop. Can't really get fuckin better than that. Kingpin 2 was announced sometime ago

Love this game! used to play it as a kid, and recently replayed the campaign, good times.

Used to love playing this, but not nearly as much as I loved playing Soldier of Fortune :D

I never played this.
I think I'm going to change that this year though =) Looks really fun and ahead of its time. Plus it looks like HL or q1 engine which is always a plus.

You can get the game off of Steam or gog.com for couple of bucks maybe

This game was awesome, everything about it was cool even if it was a Quake engine based title, I do however feel bad for all the gangster wannabes for not looking at this game



p.s. Kingpin is so much better than San Adreas, Hands down
