i invented it, if you run a windows server, or play on one, and it crashes, you copy and paste the text crashlog up onto a thread on here, and i will probaly fix it in 10 minutes
no1 ever has pasted a crashlog, so i will never release another version
damn right, every original game bug, and 1000s of hud and other crashes are fixed, where asserts are, and no returning nulls and defaults
100s of fixes are done in the netcode, so all code is and can go above 16 players and upto 128 using the gamelocal max_clients define through out the whole sdk game code
millions of fixes server and client side, done through all the recoding to make all the new features work online with no FPS loss etc
there are probaly only small crashes when spectating etc

and start a listen or dedicated server
netdemos do not record for the client that is acting as a listen server
si_rocketjumppower does`nt get set in q43a launcher, you need to set it manually in a text editor
kick ass on quake 4 all night, make new maps, and 100% customizable player models, etc

Increasing the quality would only impact the frame rate, but seeing as you are posting a static image then it does not matter.
You are just trying to hide behind old tech and settings, but its not even relevant when posting a static image.
You know this, but you also know even on high detail its still going to look crap as its old hat to begin with, hence you are hiding behind such nonsense.
I dont know what a normal sky is, if you are claiming I am posting a photo I take your compliment with thanks, its all volumetric 3D.
terragen 2 does the photorealistic images on the google search on detail 1 free version, the paid for version goes to detail 5 and what games and movies use to make skies etc
you just add a few tweaks to the land when you open the program, raise the camera, and render the frame on the highest detail

I guess you must have been unsatisfied with how it ended back then..
