no, it uses quakdwars script system and id said its to complex for you all because there are no mods for quakewars except my skilth mod and the rally mod

quakewars uses scripts to spawn entities and a parent c++ class, c++ classes are all fully "dynamic" and can update the hud etc without aload of dirty code in the "library" etc etc etc

you dont need to code any or much C++ unless you want new gametypes and weapon features, you only have to code the c++ once in the main parent class and is can be used in any script object

many mods tried and failed and never saw the light of day, there is pro mod and TA mod, both are just tweaks to def files and gameplay, not massive changes to everything

my skilth mod removes all code that concerns strogg, and has 2 identical GDF teams where all hud commands and CO and deployables all fully work ingame, so oo an so on, and more tactical then any other game

You mean lower it by 20? You can add to the default by doing "-cvaradd g_fov 25" or whatever you want in the Steam launch options, but I'm not sure about minus values.
