I don't think there's much you can do, there's a noticeable crack on the panel so you either have to replace it (takes a bit of technical skills and some LCD background knowledge) or send back to the manufacturer to repair it (repairs cost a lot).

I'd give overclocked.net a shot with your query - other than that, I think you're screwed, 2233RZ are hard to obtain these days.

There's definitely not a crack on the LCD panel, as far as my eyes can see - It looks to be the plastic on top. :\

Have you tried "scratching"/cleaning it off?

I tried first, but it seems like it's actually like, scratched or whatever. I've been given the suggestion to use rubbing alcohol and lint free cloths to try and work it out.

If you can't afford a new monitor and the panel is not of the glossy type then use some really really fine grade sandpaper (at least 800, preferably as high as you can get) and finish of with a polishing pad. Should take care of most of the spots. Then buy a plexi glass protective screen and stick it in front of your monitor.

Personally I would just go buy a new one as 120hz monitors that are smaller than 27" have dropped a lot in price over the last 2 years.

I was always wondering why don't cs snipers just draw a dot in the middle of screen instead of zooming close range. Can someone answer this?

it doesn't shoot at the middle if zoom is not used

doing an immediate zoom->shoot allows you to railgun people. you don't even have to have the zoom show up

i know. you still use the zoom even if the scope doesn't show up.

edit: addiotion to fau, you can also keep the pistol out so you'll have a crosshair, then switch to awp +fastzoom

well the point is you can preaim if you have a crosshair and be confident on a hit

:) yes. the point i'm trying to say is that even with a drawn dot or crosshair you still have to use the zoom in order to make it hit where you aim. "instead of zooming close range" implies that as soon as there is a dot on your screen, the need for zoom is gone.

Haha, not quite a trophy if losing caused it! Managed to fix it for the most-part though, there's just the tiniest of marks now. :)

TBH it is not fixable. If you open LCD from side you will see plastic glass on the top of white board. Which is damaged internally. If its not visible from outside claim for warranty.
If you have warranty left.
1) Delete this thread.
2) Take new pictures showing it isn't rage and fault just appeared.
3) Contact Samsung for faulty replacement / repair.
4) GL if they accept your RMA.
5) GL again :)
