That is something I'm considering when the detailing starts. For now, I'm more concerned with gameplay.

So... is this supposed to be some 8v8 CA map? Otherwise I don't get what the huge open area is there for. Reminds me of theatre of pain.

It's based on the courtyard of the building where he works bro

It's intended for large FFA games and it's big enough to support TDM as well.

First thing you need to do is remove the roof, give it a nice skybox. It's hard to focus on other things when it feels like you're playing in an underground carpark

It's primarily an outdoor map. Most of it will have a skybox.

I suspected that but I suggest you do it as soon as possible instead of leaving it until later, so you can get a better feel visually during the design process.

I will immediately do that in the next version.

Updated the first post with a new screenshot and download link to alpha2. As stated before, these are the changes:

Decreased the main atrium to about 1/3 of its current size.
Decreased the raised RL room by half.
Fixed the size of the JP's.
Fixed the weapon markers.
Added a skybox and some minor detailing (roof texture isn't properly aligned, not sure if I'm going to keep it).
Changed the MH location.

No changelist because I basically rebuild everything. It's more compact, less flat, less cramped and even the bots play better on it now. I hope this one is finally a step in right direction.

Not a big deal at this stage, but I'd recommend finding a new name for the map prior to its final release. You won't want to compete with the name recognition that the CTF map 'Courtyard' has, as in the end finding a unique name will really help players identify with your work.

I'll check out the map later today while at work and send you some feedback. :)

Finally got round to checking the new version, 100 times better than the original, looking forward to see how it evolves.

One thing I suggest, making the crates in the middle a little lower so one can jump across to the shards without hitting one's head on the quad bridge.
