Russian e-Sport Portal trying to keep this game alive already for a long term, almost weekly tournaments in different game modes with prizes. I want to share with you next few tournaments, all information below.

ye mappool is really weird. there are so many good maps like window pain, hearth, evolution, forgotten etc. not really sure why almost lost and campgrounds is in. especially almost lost is such a bad 2on2 map imo

I'd normally say stuff about campgrounds too and I would replace that with Hearth but a lot of people seem to like campgrounds.

don't like campgrounds as well especially not on 2on2 but if you take a look @ mappool almost lost is the worst map so i didn't talk about campgrounds :)

it's just way too big for 2on2 and the spawns can really decide rounds that's what the map makes a pretty bad choice in 2on2 imo

Way too big? How come? You can reach bridge from every spawn in 5 seconds. And you can choose to just regroup some other place if spawns sucks.

I know 2v2 CA (even 4v4 CA) is everyone rushing the same location and battleing it out there, but it doesnt have to be :)

Otherwise just force map to Eyetoeye :P

ye but if you spawn @ lower pillars + plasma stairs while both enemies spawn @ bridge you can be easily blocked @ bridge entrance and got defenitly a disadvantage or just not able to position the best way you can if you got a spawn nearer to bridge.

imo there is no other really good place to regroup if you got these gay spawns

games can be played on both russian and european servers, only rule about ping difference which should not be more then 30ms.

there is no English version, tourneys are held by Russian eSport Federation, and they work with Russia only. but I've spoken to zub1ch (head admin), and he said he'll be glad to help anybody to register. His IRC-nick is []34[] and he can be found at #resp.quake.
