I just don't get the idea behind one attacker with rail against three defenders with rockets, especially when the movements are so slow and the maps so open.
To me it seems really imbalanced and Stermy's round is a prime example of it. He is never really worried by rockets and he just racks up these easy shots until he wins the round. And even when rockets actually starts flying, judging by SpawN's round it doesn't seem to be a real problem either since keeping high grounds will ensure some easy dodging while you can just spam rails.

I know that it was just a showmatch, that probably half of the players didn't really ever played the game seriously and that it's still a little bit early to really judge the gameplay but I just don't see how this setup can be exciting to watch, not to mention that the capture part seems to be almost never used by players.

Guys, you don't understand. First of all, this isn't Quake 3 instagib, that game had an actual movement system.

Secondly, it has a lot of good techniques not available in quake games. Take a look at all those long range rails and air rails. We didn't have that in quake!

what the game is needing right now to be perfect are some drones: Predator, Scan Eagle, the whole spectrum; and maybe a few tallibans running for their goats, as NPCs
