looks like a nice impression of the game. i havent played it yet but i have a key. so frag-like i cant say much about the movie. but the movie draws fun so its succeed i guess.

the game is in a really shitty state, both from a technical and gameplay point of view

There is now an option in the settings to use "small weapons" which puts them to a more normal size. They are large like that to help the slower computers increase FPS as there is less rendering and the game is still in beta so there is still some optimization that needs to be done.

The entire point of this game is to break free from standard run and gun shooters. There are indoor maps and indoor objectives that still allow for run'n'gun duck and cover enthusiasts. This game has everything.

I always like tribes. Is the beta open? I found this youtube post a little disturbing :(

"As of the current patch it's pretty broken - the projectiles have zero inheritance, hitscan weapons are annoying as hell and the UI is less than useless for competitive play. On top of that, the maps are pretty awful and the lack of proper air control is a simply baffling way to build movement in a Tribes game. The worst thing for me is these idiotic air strikes they added. Our clan really wants this game to succeed for obvious reasons, but a lot needs to change.

This game requires TOO MUCH, TOO MUCH to be successful currently.Hopefully when they release it they'll have low and very low graphical options, currently it's too detailed for no reason, cool vid though, i envy that fps.
