Edawn v1.1.3 released

Edawn is an advanced Quake III Arena modification with many nice features and improvements

It can be downloaded from there

Major server features:
* configurable ruleset system - allows you to modify almost everything in the game (osp*,ql,instagib,cpm* rulesets included)
* competitive features (team lock/unlock/g_speclock/etc)
* advanced ban/notify system
* improved voting system
* rotation system
* ability to modify/replace map entities
* reworked FreezeTag
* advanced bot aiming skill (w/airrockets) for rl/bfg/pg
* vanilla(baseq3)-compatible

Major client features:
* very configurable HUD with useful in-game hud selection menu
* much improved demo UI, fixed server browser, singleplayer fixes
* many useful cgame cvars to setup enemy|team model|colors, hitsounds, effects etc.
* improved gfx smoothness (in combination with 1.32e)

Aw yeah. Now we need people to play with it. I wish everyone playing QL would realize how superior q3+eDawn is. What are you guys doing to do about the really low playerbase?

Also, when you say "quake3e.exe" are you talking about "edawn.exe" at the same time?

Yes, but edawn.exe is obsolete because quake3e.exe now sets fs_game cvar to "edawn" by default. And of course you can switch to any other mod via in-game mod selection menu or setting fs_game via command line

I know there was some CRTs (iiyama???) that do that ( mine barely does 100 ).
EDIT: Mind you 480fps @ 120hz still feels incredibly awesome as does more multiplications of you refresh rate in fps.

independent physics for q3 still hasn't been implemented properly yet in qw it feels awesome.
maybe people should look to making a similar system where there is a separate physics framerate?

Btw:

ADD Bot timming skills. Tried the new version and the dodging is pretty decent. Now it needs timming, being able to do all the jumps b2rail in dm6, etc.

why spend time on such specific, old crapy map dependent and overall useless feature. just add air/jump accelartion for bots to give them more speed, that's what bots actually miss. without speed even items control is useless

Fixed few annoying bugs and updated ipdb, also updated 1.32e client, version changed to 1.1.3 (last time for 1.1.x I hope)
Also released our private assembly tool so other mod makers can get some profit too :)
