We did it live, but there is no set slot time for it yet. We need to decide if there will be viewer interaction or not with this show. We can do other shows too.

as for the content i suggest a live stream with webcam or some content related to the show onscreen with some quiet background music. 30 min long with a 5-10 minute extension for viewer questions, etc.

Yeah I plan on having a camera on me at least, and more videos and content to show off. 30 mins was the target so now we know how much we can do next time.

taking the dis and vor shorten nickname version and separating you can get:

id or vs quake - ID or versus QUAKE - talk show about QUAKELIVE and everything connected!
Maybe shorten it to: Quake versus[vs or i'd] - showing that oppinions like i'd do this and i'd do that are implied etc

You also could finally do run dwons of maps with best positions and scenarios, while showing some nice jumps, rail spot etc.
I mean that could be material referenced for players new to quake, or wanting to get their game developed. Talk about the brain game etc. No demos, just showcases and talk!

as far as feedback goes, you could use video more often btw, like showing the groups when you talk about them etc. also i think 47mins is quite long, for me something around 30 mins would be most enjoyable i think

Really enjoyed it, this is a great Idea.

I like the fact that its broken up into segments which features, News, Up and coming comps, etc etc

I think bringing guest casters in to it, would really be a plus for the project,definitely attract a larger fan base
(although we already know everyone on ESR is a lvl^ fan)

Perhaps a match breakdown - Iconic games, where we witnessed an upset of some sort we weren't expecting at the start of the game, perhaps get the featured duelist to comment on their own games, talking about where they went wrong, where they should have pushed for the frag or held off.

Basic guides - Timing, Dueling, TDM, CTF - The in's and out's of what you've come across while playing, your personal experiences or tips you feels everyone should know from both the guests and casters.

Epic fail moments - short clips / demos / of games played where something happend that really just stood out to you. have the community mail them through to you, and select the ones you'd like to show.

Frag Video's - Make mention of those players making video's, the only reason people shouldn't be sending demo's to them, is because they don't know the vid is being made, or just talk/show your favourite vid.

Kill of the week - the sickest shot that someone has come across in either a pub game, private or clan based, only thing that matters is that its gotta be mind blowing.

ID Updates - I know this might seems like a chore, well it does to me, but it would be pretty handy, after ID release client updates, you run through those changes and how you think they'll affect the gameplay

Ok me, vor, nvc, trance and......2GD! Chose the best suggestion for the show name which I guess will be clear when the next episode is up. We had it all prepared for yesterday but with the UK vs Poland match on we didn't really get a chance so perhaps we will do it tonight after the UK vs Hungary match (as long as we win!!).
