So did I. That's why I feel obliged to "donate" this incredibly small amount of money to the devs.
I'm planing to play it again in the future, I could have just lost the 2€ under a car seat or something, at least I'll know it's money well spent on a game that I actually liked. Plus, maybe I'll get a discount for Metro: Last Light
Oh man, you should work in sales, cause I just have bought it.
Main factor though is my curiosity about how it will run on my GTX 480 SLI with all latest game patches and drivers. :) I played i with single GTX480, old drivers and version 1.0
" The Game runs like SH#* in DX11 even with 2 480's. And doesnt look THAT much better.
Id rather have DX9 Maxed out in 3D with high FPS then to have to turn down settings in DX11 3D (or suffer from crap FPS) "
The devs had no dx11 card when they developed the core of the engine, that's why it suffers when you set everything to the max (like advanced dof and things like that). It runs better than 1.0, but tbh, Metro never was a well optimized game, it's more like a "renderer" approach rather then a real "game engine".
I always buy games what i finish, even if it's shit. I even had to buy crysis because of that, it was a pain to "play" that garbage.
If it's so bad that I can't even finish the game, then they don't deserve my money, but if I finish it I must support the developers, or it would be thievery:(
Yea the suit and the awesome graphics and physics engine. The only real fun I had there was messing around in the beautiful environment (like blowing up things, etc), but as a game, it sucked imo:(
Yea, but mods weren't around when i was playing it, and right before crysis1, I was playing games like Twilight Princess, Okami and GOW2, so my content expectations were just too high probably:)
I live in Germany but have an UK fake account to gift me uncut games when it's needed. And in general the UK prices are always about 10-18 percents lower.
You're a real douche if you don't buy music you like.
It's that little joy in life, when you actually pay for something you enjoy and appreciate. You get to pay for shit you don't even want on a daily basis. The feeling of putting money somewhere where you want it to is great, and it doesn't cost you a fortune.
It's simple freeconomics. There would be not enough demand for such music, so they give it for "free" and make it up in volume, which means: they increase the fan-base who will pay for them eventually.
