Event: QC'11

It is with extreme pleasure we can officially announce our first involvement in QuakeCon 2011,

Johan "tox" Quick. The Swedish Quake legend has shown great recent form and interest to pickup some Quake Live duel titles and here at 4Seasons Gaming we are more than happy to be of assistance to his determination. Johan will be participating in the QuakeCon 2011 duel competition, under the 4Seasons Gaming banner, and regardless of his finishing rank at the end of the tournament our investment has already been satisfied for our enjoyment to see him competing again in a major LAN duel tournament.

Partnered Sponsorship is still available for tox as we bring his profile page live before QuakeCon. As this is our first financed player we have no interest in any future or current funding requests from other players for the time being.

Timing is not enough for getting the items though. You need aim, position and knowledge when to contest for them and when not. I time, but if I play any of those players, will get the shards maybe?

tox's aim is at least on par with the others. He just needs the other 2.

I hope he does well, can only be good seeing him pull off some class aim and pixel shots. I would like to see the Q4 tox though, but I feel that he is up against it, as the others have more QL duel time than him. But saying that he is a bit special right?

would be an awesome tournament with almost all old and new school participating!

I am looking forward most for zero4 and tox (even though never was a fan of neither of them)

I watched some zero4 lately and the guy pawns. Needless to say that he has the best smack talk by miles. I miss that aspect in new school players.

I hope they both do well and if they do, I might consider them as top 4 all time quakers, along with cooller and rapha. Tox only if he takes it though, since his q4 dominance doesn't mean a lot to me (and cypher most likely deserves it more).

cypher times by item order and sometimes by actual arithmetic, Cypher gives you the illusion that he does not time at all but he actually uses the items to bait more instead take em and go hunting (which is the cooller style)

In games when dmg output are much higher(q3,q4) you can destroy much of the enemy stack with good aim/ambush. Timing in ql is more important than q4. There you can relay almost only on aim and time "feeling style".

sick rails idd, but he did comeback mostly because av3k was too confident... there were some situations when he could/should escape quite easly but he stayed and tried to hit some heavy rails... and the last fight, tox was left with 4 hp... not to mention avek raped him on t7 and hub "D

I do agree av3k did throw the game away a bit, but Tox took that opportunity to make a very impressive come back with awesome pixel rails and quick movements through the map to find av3k as he had just spawned.
The last action was kinda lucky, wrong weapon choice by av3k and tox left with 3 hp. But still well impressive come back that not many players would have managed.

I said it is difficult to get an Australian overseas correct. But it's cheaper to send a Euro to America then it is an Australian to anywhere. This was a personal investment, not a sponsorship agreement

on the contrary. I am only from Quake Live and have never really seen tox play any game in any tournament. When we were over in Germany he was kind enough to give dan a few games and I am helping him not because I am a "fan boy" but because I have heard how good he can be and he's a nice bloke
