i had exactly the same problem... and i bought a new one and fixed the old abyssus... the problem with abyssus and all razer mice is that they use Polystyrene to build the top cover that has the things that press the switches. I guess they use Polystyrene because it's a cheap polymer and it's also transparent which allows them to have that blue razer logo. it's a shame really i rather see a better polymer used and have no lights and shit... Polystyrene is also very fragile...

how did you fix it

I opened it up, i saw the little thing that connects to the left button, and made a new one by myself and glued it to right place. U have to be carefull and i recommend mesuring the height of the little piece on the rmb as they have de same height but different orientations.

i guess i'll send it back and buy a logitech then :<

Sad for you, I still have working lachesis for like almost 3 years+razer imperator on 8m. But tbh, razer mamba died on me for like 8m in use... so dunno.

had an abyssus for 2 years...still works...mouse3 went out tho :O
