There was a QL duel ladder on CB, it disappeared because after 1 week noone cared. Same with 2v2 TDM (and kinda with every quake ladder)

if it was a ql implemented ladder on quakelive.com yea.
but through another site ppl cba to post results/arrange wars/etcetc

the QL community seems pretty shit compared to UT though...if youre on an unbalanced server in ut2k4 then the players will try to fix them. in QL they just ignore the request most of the time...4v4 ctf with 3-0 quickly but they wont bother altering...even if it becomes 5v4 (to the winning team) one wont switch.

theyre all fucking idiots too with their server capping....like just because theres 6 in a server they vote to cap it at 3v3 because theyre retarded and assume that 3v3 automatically means that the teams are more balanced than 4v3 would be or eventually 4v4

wish they removed stats sometimes so people wouldn't care so much about their win %

yea was thinking the same :/ they could keep stats for skill matching but just not show them

i would want more specific stats from a single game but the overall stats could be removed almost completely, just show amount of games and how many of them you have finished. also add how many games on which maps you have played, its insane how stupid the stats system is compared to the potential this kind of setup offers

even the overall stats are pretty meaningless for public team games

map 1: i swap teams 2/3 times to help balance it (i only have stats after the last
map 2: we go 0-3 down in no time at 4v5...i spend the next 5 mins asking someone to fix the teams (5v4 in our favour) but they all ignore. eventually 1 of our players leaves (3v5) and it still takes 2 mins for someone to swap.

overall map stats arent good when they get lost on team change because people are like "i already have a score of 400...i dont want to lose this and end the map with 100 on the losing team"...if it kept all stats of the players then theyd be more likely to swap i guess because they can be like "yea, we lost it 3-4 but i made 6 caps"

if you go on some of the stat pages or friends list, you see some counter that's on 0
I guess they already tried to implement this, but I'd like to see a list of favorite duel partners and win/losses, something like that could have a nice touch

I'm PRETTY sure they're working on duel ladders or at least are planning on them..

Duel, CTF, 2v2 TDM ladders were active on CB and were closed due to lack of interest.

cb ladder is 1999, as the site.

2011 ladder should on ql site. You press play, wait about 30 sec, get server with your opponent. play a map (random voted or your homemap and opponent homemap). after you are done, you just dont care about some score or accept win/lose. ql does everything automaticly, win, score, ranking.
