lol. Well I've gotten half-way on making a tournament website and ladder for quake, I asked nukm if he was willing to help, but he said he was too busy atm, since then it's been a hectic holiday season, but I'm starting to settle down and do some work again.

How's your dev skills?

I'm using the web2py framework to make a league and ladder system. Initially it was going to be for south africa, but there is no reason why it wouldn't work the same way.

Skills that would be helpful:

web2py
html
css
javascript
python
sql
git
photoshop + design
testing

Oh and I'm not going to host it, and manage anything in europe from SA, so someone will need to do that. I was more planning to just develop a site for it.

Currently learning JS as I start my next module in ~3 weeks.

My HTML and CSS are "competent" though, if you want anything mocking up or want some design ideas, PM me some details.. I enjoy this stuff (although I'm a relative newb, I've taken a lot in the last ~6months).

I didn't bother learning anything, I just decide what I want and do it. After time you know stuff.

As I said I already have stuff done. The main stuff that needs to be done is probably the coding and logic (for creating leagues, moving people up and down the ladder, having buttons to click to challenge someone else, sending out emails.)

This will all need to be done in python, but it really is an easy language.
