Jesus you guys, the glitching sound only lasts for like 3 seconds. Not like it's the end of the world...

id still manages to create new bugs after every update. Every update QL had, there were some fucking shit which changed the game and annoyed everyone. This time, ragequit doesnt work.

You must never have played an online game before if you think that bugs are exclusive to QL.

it's not the end of the world but still well annoying, especially when you're a paying user.

i have to study and go to school and everything else so at least for the weekend i want to play some quake to relax but every time smth is wrong so...fail.

And it's getting worse with each update.
- We all want to play and have fun with our loved game,
- we all tried to help as much as we could,
- we all gave our suggestions and ideas how to make it better,
- we all tested a shit out of this game, (in fact, id had the most professional and fanatic tester playerbase ever existed on this planet)
- we all have some kind of clue what's wrong with this game
- and believe me, we would also play some games after a hard day at work/school,

but we understand that it's shit and sometimes we can't, so we won't rage:)

just accept QL as how it is, and you will enjoy what you get.

Well and what did we get out of it?

A dumbed down demo of Q3 with some new maps and few free features. No custom maps on own servers (we pay for!), no physics-changes only vq3. No GTV, most maps are premium. Lags, shit netcode, downtimes, bugs etc. etc.

Thats why I'm not playing QL atm, cuz it sucks.

You are not a quaker, you don't and won't understand why we are playing it, even if it's sucks. If you can't enjoy it, stop playing is the best you can do indeed.

Well I dunno perhaps I'm not hardcoring Quake for 10+ years but I've played QL since the start of the open beta, and gave id some feedback over the forums (altough I doubt they have ever red it or any other feedback), untill they released it (cuz thats when the whole shit started) and I'm also playing CPMA and Warsow. So would you please shut the fuck up? Thank you very much.

As I wrote it above (and also many times in other threads) with the current dev setup, this whole QL thing is never gonna be any good, this is simple and obvious to any serious gamer, period.

This is one of our hobbies, and since QL destroyed the EU Q3 playerbase (NA scene was pretty much dead already), so there is not much we can do but play with QL. if we want to quake some. And yes we do want to quake some, but you don't.

So pretty please, have a nice x-mas, move along, and stop raging like a 3 years old kid.

lol, i was trying to find an update to my sound card ... because I reinstalled windows few days ago.

I just hope so that somewhere in future they will give us second option to play this game from harddrive not only by webbrowse.

it makes me angry when firefox crash how slow everything works and how laggy it feels when you compare to q3, and this fps drops, warps who knows what else ..

That's what you get when you cramp QL in a browser. Would be cool if it would have been realised like battle net where you basically have the game offline but you need internet for stats etc.

Probably won't happen but I hope they do as well. I don't have any issues with q3 in comparison to ql :(

The "leaving the server glitch" is one of the worst bug/failures EVER!
I have reduced my gaming significantly and I am considering quitting Quake Live all together until this issue is resolved.

Seriously. I would rather that the game was completely down, for days or weeks, depending on how long it takes to fix it.

How do all of you know if it's a bug? It's just a guess, but It could be that the client is doing something and uploads it to the server, a screenshot or a result of some md5checking for example.
