GAR nowadays is terrible at making movies. The original dead trilogy ( Night/Dawn/Day) are the best zombie movies ever in my opinion. Martin is also a movie I would recommend from GAR. But yes, his latest output like Diary and Survival of the Dead is really terrible. He should just stop making movies, or at least zombie movies.

Concerning The Crazies: Fun remake, better then the original movie but nothing special.

i remember playing Uncharted1 and thinking.. wow this is a pretty cool game in the vein of detective movies with exotic locations (though it dragged a little here and there).

then by 75% in the singleplayer FUCKING ZOMBIES appear out of nowhere.. that made no sense, it was such a forced plot twist..it made me think they got before the deadline with no ending and said "FUCK IT, we can't come up with a clever ending to tie this story together.. let's add some zombies and be done in time".

i have nothign against zombies per se, but i know what you mean by the plot twist.

most staggering example for me was the movie "the forgotten", where this woman (julian moore) is the only one that seems to remember that she had a son once.

i was really looking forward to a clever and well thought out ending, and half way through aliens appear... so disappointing...

When did zombies go from being brain-dead slow crippled creatures into being fast jacked up fuckers?

First time I remember seeing that sort of thing was probably 28 days later, but they weren't technically zombies. That was a 'rage' virus that was infected from monkeys so technically they weren't dead but just infected. Everyone else seems to have just hopped onto that bandwagon

i kinda like the fact that over the years zombies are getting one-upped.

when i watched the dawn of the dead remake for the first time. my heart skipped a beat at the beginning when the zombie-daughter came into the parents room, standing there, and then jumped at them.

-friend's wedding which like 5000 people attended (3 non-paki people there including me)
-got wasted on a house boat - drove the houseboat
-almost died on air india express several times
-had a fight with a taxi driver over 5 rupees (0.08euros)
-made the driver take me to cake shops when i was stoned (sick feeling)


goa:
-hung out with dogs on the beach
-smashed scooter into a wall, broke toe-
got offered drugs by everyone - bought drugs from ice cream shop
-saw world's largest butterfly (unrelated to previous entry)
- got 54 mosquito bites on my left foot + mild elephantiatus

pune:
- stayed in 5 star hotel for free. brought 2 buckets of kfc into the room
- everyone puked a lot (except me)
- destroyed free breakfast every morning
- went to some reception for the wedding
- got a train back to bombay - saw a dancing kid on the train

bombay:
- realised all indian people are retarded
- lost phone in some ghetto pub (not my fault)
- involved in rickshaw crash
