How to get more PC gamers.
Sell Nvidia ION platform pc kinda like the Zotac MAG then bundle it with basic gaming equipment like QcK+,WMO and basic keyboard.

that cancels out all the console fags that think you need a £1000+ PC to play pc games because most of the games played in IEM are all over 10 years old anyway also due to all the new fags having the same system they can all help each other out if their is any problems but try and make it retard proof.

IMO thats probably the first thing that scare people off from PC gaming is because they think it going to cost n arm and a leg to get a good gaming PC and TBH +1 to Alienware for sponsoring ESL and everything but they not really helping by making all the outside spectators thinking they need to buy a over priced "gaming" laptop to play Quakelive and cs1.6.
Applies to most "gaming" companies tbh.

I 100% agree with that idea because most of the designers are complete idiots and not making products for gamers but what they think gamers want then think of a number then multiply it by 2.

IMO most of the gaming companies are just out to get your money and not actually focus on making good products.
It retarded the Microsoft have made 2 of the mice for gaming and one of them wasn't even meant to be used for gaming and only cost a fraction of the price of all these "Gaming" products that don't even work probably or break after 2 weeks and this has been going on for ever. well i havn't seen any beanchmarks on the ION platform but the specs on paper should be able to play Quakelive and CS1.6 with a 1.6ghz duel core.
But if Zotac made a more buffed up version the better.

Just because it's 1.6GHz and dual-core doesn't mean it is as fast as a 1.6GHz core 2 duo. There are lots of factors that make CPUs faster / slower, and the way that the atom consumes less power and is cheaper is by Intel leaving out things that are there to make it go faster.

On my desk right now is a 1.1GHz Atom Z510, which I benchmark at approximately 4-5 times slower than the 4 year old P4 that is also sat on my desk.

That at least is based on a 330 which is significantly better than the Z510 (I happen to have one at home) but its not going to cope with any modern games. It can probably cope with a 10 year old game like Q3, but that's about it, and even that may not peg the 125fps you're going to want.

ok the performance isnt the best as we would like but like i said before if Zotac made something silimar but more beefed up so it can run for example cod4 at a stead 100fps it would be a good Console PC to get more new PC gamers.

It would only be useful for playing games like CS/Q3/SC, and only bring in a small number of hold-outs who complained about the price of a gaming PC. The vast majority of "gamers" would still rather be playing Crysis/MW2/etc...

The 330 is pretty much the top of the range Atom. Infact, I thought Intel had dropped it since it was over-priced and higher power than the goal.

The aim of the Atom is not to get you a high speed PC, it's to get low power things that can be used for simple tasks like netbooks and thin clients at low cost (including power overheads).

If they did something similar with a proper CPU that would be able to play the games that would compare well to an xbox 360, it'd cost a lot more to make.

I've spent the last year optimising our code so that we can run on an Atom because our customers are currently failing to understand this, and assuming that Atom's can do everything a real PC can, which is why I'm certain this wouldn't work well.

ok fair enough it might not be the best system to use but at the same time you dont need a i7 latop to play Cs 1.6 or Quakelive.

I not done any reaserch at all but im guessing £650 would be close to the Top end for an average gamer.

One of my machine is an Atom330 OC-ed to 2.4Gh and it's doing pretty good as a 24/7 server & HTPC. I made insane amount of test with that machine. Yes the in-order execution is a real pain in the ass when you want to use it like a normal PC, but powered with nvidia ion.. it just doing fine with old games. Quake series or source engine based games are all run pretty well gfx wise... and its perfect for watching movies or browsing the net.

The rig is doing ok with the well optimized IDtech3.x engine, and QL is stable 125fps at 1366x768 highest detail online, but again since there is no out of order execution... the slow AI code is hitting the cpu really hard soon as I turn bots on, and maintaining 125 fps is not possible even with only a few bots on the map. The atom is just not for gaming..

TBH if you well underclock a dual-celeron, you will end up with almost the same power profile (you will need about 10-15W more), and Celerons are far more powerful.

its not that great, even games like quakelive and cs1.6 dont run as good as we have come to expect from these old games.

and as for sc2 itll run ok until u get more than a few units, and once u get big fights it goes down to 5-10fps

I don't think you quite grasp the basics here.
If there's no money in a company there's no money to get from a lawsuit.

If a company goes bankrupt all claims to the comany's assets become invalid. (ok, it's a bit more complicated than that, but it's almost true)

I don't know how things work in France, but in most countries a private person can't be held responsible gor a company's actions unless he/she broke the law for personal gain. If that's the case it will most likely go to a federal court and not a civil one, which means you wont see much money anyway.

I seriously doubt that there were contracts. The most you could get them on is false advertising.

If sponsors want more visitors they should merge with events like E3,CeBit or smth like that...
