They promised it and now they just announced it. After a successful first edition for Europe back in the last days of March, the guys from Team Liquid are coming back with a second SC2 invitational tournament! And the Team Liquid SC2 Invitational #2 will be focusing on America with 16 players for that new edition.

The matches will be starting at 12:00 CDT, 8 May 2010 ~~and should be stream by Chill, who will be joined by Day[9] as soon he gets his ass handed to himself in the tournament~~.

Update: djWHEAT will be commentating the tournament with Chill on its UStream. Day[9] will still join them when he gets knocked out of the tournament.

djWheat and Chill will be casting this event on wheat's ustream. Day9 will be joining them between games to give insight in the event that he is eliminated.

I haven't heard WHEAT shoutcast an SC2 game, but I'm assuming he will do a great job. I do really enjoy Husky's shoutcasting though, he's very lively and a high level player. He gives a lot of useful insight while shoutcasting, similar to 2GD.

Im curious myself, as his commentary on SC1 was carried by his expert co-casters like Tasteless and Artosis. djWHEAT seems to have been hooked on SC2, and has been playing it constantly since start of the beta, so Im thinking that he must have improved quite a bit.
